We are a firm of experienced business consultants, with deep expertise in Performance Management including planning, forecasting, costing and profitability. Our focus has always been the linkage between operational and financial management – long before anyone was talking about Connected Business Solutions. We became an Anaplan Partner in 2013 because it was a tool that finally allowed us to deliver on the practices that we’ve been gathering, synthesizing, and promoting. So unlike other firms, we put business methods first and then enable our solutions through software. Our team reflects this strategy – experienced practitioners who have become highly proficient in the use of Anaplan as an enabling technology for the processes where we have business expertise.

Mitch MAX - founder, practice leader
Mitch brings over 25 years of experience in costing, planning and forecasting in multiple industries to each client situation.
He particularly enjoys taking best practices from one industry and bringing it into another. He has over 20 years of performance management experience in Financial Services and as an Anaplan Certified Solutions Architect and Master Anaplanner is building on that knowledge with new experiences in healthcare, technology, service and retail sectors. His current focus is in developing improved planning and financial management capabilities for the Chief Information Officer in large and complex organizations. Mitch recently began lecturing in Operations Management for the Rotman Management School (MBA program) at the University of Toronto. When not working, Mitch loves to unplug and relax with family and friends at his cottage in Northern Ontario.
John - solutions architect
John is a seasoned consultant with over 18 years experience designing and implementing business planning solutions. He is an Anaplan Certified Solution Architect.
John has proven expertise in financial modeling and analysis as well as rolling forecast methodologies. He has a keen ability to analyze client requirements and translate them into powerful applications that drive organizational performance. When not working John enjoys skiing in the Adirondacks, near his hometown of Saratoga Springs, NY.
Darryl - rapidABC general manager
Darryl designed and now serves as general manager over BetterVu’s state-of-the-art Activity-Based Costing platform (rapidABC) where he is responsible for client support and continuing evolution of the platform. Darryl lives in Nashville. He loves the natural beauty of Tennessee. When he is not working, he will be found outdoors hiking or riding his bicycle.
Blake - senior consultant
Blake brings over 25 years of business proficiency, 17 years as an Enterprise Architect in OLAP design consultancy, and several years of financial planning and accounting background with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in planning, reporting, and consolidation business processes.
He is adept at leading business teams through the process of translating current financial and planning practices into efficient best practice data model design and procedures. Blake is a sports enthusiast who also enjoys being on the water and motorcycle rides on back country roads.
Bob - senior consultant
Bob brings over thirty years of experience in cost and performance management as a consultant and manager in a variety of industries
Initially, Bob spent 20 years in line management and financial support for a NE based electric and gas utility serving 2.5 million customers. Subsequently Bob moved to consulting where his deep management experience supported practical application of conceptual ideas and programs in ways that achieved client objectives. More recently Bob has worked in the Financial Services sector supporting cost and profitability modeling, analytics and forecasting. In his leisure time Bob enjoys spending time working on his property in the hills of western NJ and in the kitchen preparing meals for his growing family.
